Mr Michael Bowkis

Staff Tutor

Michael has been with the Open University for several years, initially as an Associate Lecturer on several computing modules. He is a Staff Tutor in the School of Computing and Communications.

He has worked as a senior Vice President of an international consulting company, as an independent consultant and business leader across industry, academia and H.M. Government delivering complex strategies.

He has a track within the spere of physical security for major international events including London 2012, EDS for aviation security and military security projects. His research interests are in the intersection of cyber security and physical security with a focus on Critical National Infrastructure.
